The lost bow campaign was started in 2021. It was dreamed up and initially started by an anonymous donor, who wished to see bows in the hands of young archers! MTB is truly honored that they entrusted us with this responsibility. We have already had the opportunity to outfit a lot of youngsters, and would your help to grow our beloved family of Traditional archers.
If you have a bow that needs a new home, either used or new you may send it to MTB, bring it to any even MTB event, or contact one of the LBC Committee members listed below to make arrangements. MTB also will be happy to accept your monetary donations for this program, either by sent to our P.O. Box at PO Box 11 Williamston MI 48895, or on our website mitradbow.com
MTB members can nominate candidates 3 – 18to adopt a lost bow. This can be done by contacting MTB through our website or by contacting one of our committee members listed below. The recipient does not need to be an MTB member, as we will gift each recipient a one year membership along with their bow and accessories. WE ask that when you nominate someone, if the family is new to Traditional Archery, that you accept the responsibility to be a mentor for them and help them learn the sport and how to use their new equipment properly and safely.
This program was developed to help kids outside of our memberships normal scope of influence. If your child or grandchild, nephew or niece has a friend who is fascinated by your kids interest in archery, they may the perfect candidate! If you know of a family struggling to take care of the archery needs of their family, they may also be a perfect candidate. We would like to see these bows go to who may not have had the opportunity otherwise.
It is our hope that our MTB membership will continue to embrace this program with the large heartedness that we know this community has! Thank you for all your support!
